Organizing Team Member

Overview:

You’re the person your friends always invite over on moving day. You just “get it” when it comes to rearranging clothes in a closet or making tricky spaces work. You’re eager to jump in and get down (and maybe a little dusty!) with a team of like-minded creatives. You’re supportive, instinctive, and self-motivated with a positive “can-do” attitude. You have an eye for detail and enjoy both focused tasks and big-picture organization. If you’re thinking “this sounds like me!” keep reading to hear more of the details.

About Us:

Space Camp is a tight-knit bunch of passionate organizers, each with a unique set of strengths, led by our founder Julianna Strickland. We take on organizing projects of all shapes and sizes, from the trunks of cars, clothes closets, and pantries, to entire homes and full property moves. Our team brings endless creativity, optimism and joy to the process, making the experience fun and enjoyable from the first consultation to the final walk through. We believe organization isn’t a luxury, but a necessity for a happy and healthy life. Space Camp is working to make the world a better place to live, one room at a time.

About You:

  • You love being around people and seek to leave places better than you found them

  • You like to work as part of a team, but also love to focus on an independent project

  • You’re detail-oriented, creative in new spaces, and love to organize just about anything

  • You love making lists and take pride in completing tasks fully and on time

  • You’re a great communicator by text, email, and in person

  • You’re on board to be a ride-or-die Space Camper, and equally value hard work and rest

  • You have all-star critical thinking skills: you love to think on your feet

  • You’re excited by the idea of joining a small, nimble team; all hands on deck

What You Will Do:

  • Organize all client spaces, large and small, private and corporate, as part of a team

  • Contribute to shopping lists and shop for necessary organizing product while on the job

  • Transport organizing product to and from Space Camp HQ and client spaces

  • Communicate clearly with teammates and leadership about personal and client needs and wants

  • Nice to have: experience organizing and/or styling and decorating (but not a dealbreaker! we love to offer on-the-job training the Space Camp way)

*This position includes travel around Los Angeles county and some surrounding areas, so access to a car is necessary. A computer may also be required at times.
